From 1962 when as a mother and grandmother Frances Lennon turned her talent to illustrated books for children, she penned and illustrated thirteen stories each with its own flavour and delightful coloured pictures. They were originally produced to entertain and educate Frances's first grandchild Anne-Marie. The stories were later shared with her sister Elizabeth who was born a couple of years later. The storytelling continued through the 1980's, when Thomas the first of six great-grandchildren was born. |
